to me to be
fabulously expensive
frames,but things
have changed.
The top of the
range AS-R frame
comes in at
£1299. Still
loads but less
than a couple
of years ago
& equal
with the Santa
cruz superlight
the Rocky Mountain
TO & the
Scott carbon
strike frames
which are the
other lightweight
full susp xc
competition
frames.
Rides
like a dream.
I've thrown
everything at
it that our
local trails
can offer and
despite the
fact it's got
SID's on the
front it does
everything with
ease. But is
still exciting
on things like
'Roller coaster'
& 'Cliff
richard' . It
climbs superbly
& despite
the SID's it
corners nicely
as well. If
it had Fox forks
or Marzocchi's
it must be even
better. It's
hard to fault
a frame like
this, it's light,
agile good to
look at and
is affordable.
