Ride 10.1.03 6.45am
Six
riders turned up, Stuart, Giles,
George,Richard, Tony & the
author Simon.
The
weather & conditions were
superb. No rain, ground white
& frozen almost rock hard.
Slightly treacherous, so we
had to be on our best behaviour.
Sadly,
George wasn't & had a big
fat 5 on a flat easy track.
Yours truly also had a couple
of dabs, even the best get it
wrong sometimes!
Giles
having just returned after an
enforced 2 week break in Morzine
(it's tough for some) was relieved
to be back on Leith Hill &
cleaned Double D' on his first
attempt, so out came digi cam
to record the proceedings &
Stuart slipped into photographer
mode (examples included)
The
rest of the ride continued without
a hitch & once again on
days like this it reminds us
why we ride
Then
it was back to the shop for
lashings of pot noodle (so naughty)
& cous cous to set up up
for the day ahead.
