ROUTES
AND RIDES - Trails
Sunday
ride 25th May 2003
Summers
here! Two hail
storms, Rod's
back, slightly
swampy conditions,
great ride.
Rod was testing
out his new
shoulder, 6months
of physiotherapy
seemed to have
worked well
enough though.
We
spent 4hours
on Leith Hill
without any
repetition.
Did 'Jail break'
a new singletrack
connecting 'Sue
Egypt' with
'sticky fingers'
then over to
'pint glass'
& 'chocolate
Jesus'. Then
onto 'personal
hygiene' which
was a bit scary
just after one
of the storms.
Over to the
other side of
Leith Hill to
Redlands to
do 'punch the
clock' &
'foot &
mouth' &
finishing on
'white jam'
before crossing
the road again
to do 'cream
egg' & 'man
friday'. Simon
Day thought
it wise to go
full speed straight
into the swamp
at the bottom
of 'man friday'
which was entertaining,
sadly didn't
have the video
camera on for
that. When I've
figured out
how to load
the video pictures
I'll put them
on. For now
here's some
pictures we
took earlier.
 'Golden
Birdies' A
bridge near
'Hang wire'

'365'
so named from
a famous surfing
spot in South
Africa. Named
by the first
person to clean
it, a South
African guy
called Rod Frost
