Old skool Sunday ride

Surrey Hills, mountain bike ride

Surpisingly, a reasonable number of riders tuned up for the Sunday ride, even though the weather wasn't at it's best! We hit Leith Hill, taking in 'Touch Sensitive', 'Wild wood,' then down to Friday Street & 'Soul mining'.  Climbed up Holmbury hill & did the all weather 'Parklife' followed by 'Telegraph Road' then stopping off for cheesy chips & tea at the excellent Royal Oak pub. We then carried on back up Leith hill & onto Redlands woods & 'Psychedelic warlord' finishing on F & M (video below). A good 'ol xc ride with plenty of thrills on the way. What better way to spend a dreary January Sunday. Mountain biking...best sport ever
